Happy Teacher Appreciation Day

I would have been remiss not to post something about teachers this week. After all, the original inspiration for this blog was to encourage morale among my colleagues. Especially in a day and age when politicians seek to bust our unions and society seems to blame us for all it's ills, and especially this time of year when we're buried in paperwork and stress, it is important to remember that we're in this for the kids.

"When you teach a child, you teach the child's child."

"I touch the future. I teach." ~Christa McAuliffe

"None of us would be at Harvard without the influence of our teachers, and we are hard pressed to find a more noble profession,
or a more rewarding one."

For Teachers

*here's one of the quotes I sent out to my friends last year. My intention is to post something once or twice a week, but there may be several posts today as I put up quotes or pictures like this.
